Suva City is the capital of Fiji and a busy commercial hub for the South Pacific. Suva is a colourful and busy place so attracts many visitors to its resort hotels and motels. The larger hotels are mostly business style hotels, but do offer resort facilities such as bar, restaurant and pool. There is an international airport at Nausori, about 30 minutes east of Suva city. However, most international travellers arrive via the main International Airport in Nadi. There are regular domestic flights from Nadi to Nausori, either with Air Fiji or Pacific Sun (formerly Sun Air). One may also get to Suva by road. From Nadi to Suva via the Queen's highway it is a 3.5-4 hour drive (express bus, taxi or hire car), longer by local bus.
