Dining and Entertainment

Dining at Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort is something really special. The Resort has stylish open-air restaurant areas overlooking the pool and the ocean beyond. Awarded "Best Food in Fiji" by Travel + Leisure magazine, Nov 2002), the chef prepares contemporary Fijian, South Pacific and International cuisine. The bar stocks fine wines, beer, tropical cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for your dining pleasure. Fijian band boys entertain with local Fijian and western songs during cocktail hour and dinner. Special dining spots can be arranged including dining under the stars at the end of the pier, and private dining bures. Traditional Fijian lovo feast is served once and week, as is a Mongolian stir-fry bbq. Family dining arrangements are available.

Activities and Sightseeing

The resort is renowned for its diving operation, under the direction of Jean-Michel Cousteau. It offers excellent dive facilities and experienced dive staff who will introduce you to some of the best diving Fiji has to offer. An on-site marine biologist holds regular slide show and video evenings. In addition to scuba diving, the Resort offers a wide range of cultural, educational, environmental and recreational experiences both on land and on the water, including village trips, kayaking, fishing, sailing (hobie cat).
